Cullen McIntyre
I am currently a graduate student at Emerson College studying for my MA in journalism. For my undergraduate degree I studied Media Studies with a minor in Sport Media at the University of Southern Maine. During my enrollment I worked for the University of Southern Maine Free Press for all four years. I was the sports editor for my first two, and then served as the Editor-in-Chief for my final two years, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I also worked for the University of Southern Maine athletic department in my junior and senior year as the photographer for all 22 sports. During my senior year I interned with the Maine Mariners, a minor league hockey team in Portland, ME, where I was the team photographer for the 2021-22 season.
I was have a deep passion for sports photography, but have explored various genres of the medium throughout my work. Being born and raised in Maine I have loved capturing the beautiful landscape of the state, as well as holding portrait shoots in the southern Maine area.
